About this exercise
"Leg-split jump" targets the Kafafu muscle group, suitable for beginners. The main load falls on: Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Glutes. Equipment needed: Bodyweight.
Description
A simple cardio exercise in which you simultaneously perform a jump with legs apart and arms raised above your head, and then return to the starting position. It increases your heart rate, improves coordination, develops endurance, and helps you effectively warm up your muscles before exercising.
Instructions
Starting position: Stand up straight, legs together or almost together. Put your arms down by your side. Keep your back straight and keep your eyes forward. Bend your knees slightly, preparing for the jump. Execution: Jump up. While jumping, spread your legs apart at the same time. Raise your arms through the sides up. They landed gently on slightly bent legs, placing their feet wider than their shoulders. Immediately perform the next jump, bringing your legs back together and lowering your arms down. Keep alternating the position of your legs — together → apart → together.
