About this exercise
"Staircase simulator" targets the ڪارڊيو muscle group, suitable for intermediate level. The main load falls on: Quadriceps, Glutes, Calves. Equipment needed: Machines.
Description
A stair trainer (also known as a climber or stepper ladder) is a cardio machine that simulates an endless climb up stairs. It is considered one of the most effective tools for burning calories and working out the muscles of the lower body.
Instructions
Posture: Keep your back straight, do not lean your whole body on the handrails. Hand support reduces the effectiveness of training by 20-25%. Setting the foot: Place the foot completely on the step, do not walk only on your toes — this overloads the calves and can lead to pain in the foot. Duration: Beginners are recommended to start with 10-15 minutes, gradually increasing the session to 20-30 minutes at an average pace.
