"Extension of the arm in the lower block" targets the Apá muscle group, suitable for intermediate level. The main load falls on: Triceps. Equipment needed: Machines.
Description
An isolating exercise for detailing the triceps, especially the medial head. The reverse grip creates an unusual load.
Instructions
1. Stand facing the lower block, grasp the D-handle with a reverse grip (palm up).
2. Press the elbow of the working arm against the body.
3. As you exhale, straighten your arm back, fully contracting your triceps.
4. As you inhale, slowly return the handle to its original position.
