Description

A basic exercise for developing the broadest muscles of the back with strong biceps involvement. An easier variation than pull-ups with a straight grip.

Instructions

1. Grasp the crossbar with a reverse grip (palms facing you) shoulder-width apart or narrower.
2. Hang with your arms fully extended.
3. As you exhale, bring your shoulder blades together and pull yourself up, trying to touch the crossbar with the top of your chest.
4. As you inhale, slowly lower yourself to the starting position.
