Reverse lunges
About this exercise
"Reverse lunges" targets the Ẹsẹ̀ muscle group, suitable for beginners. The main load falls on: Hamstrings, Glutes. Equipment needed: Bodyweight.
Description
The lunge variation is safer for the knees, as the step is taken backwards rather than forwards.
Instructions
1. Stand up straight.
2. Take a wide step back and drop into a lunge.
3. Return to the starting position with your foot planted.
4. Repeat with the other leg.
